3 Leien Stables is a breeding and sport stable specializing in showjumping horses. It was founded over 25 years ago by Lieve and Lennart Van Vlaenderen in Sint-Martens-Latem, Belgium. The stable was named after the point “the Drie Leien”, where the river Leie branches into two and one can see ‘three Leie arms’.

The first breeding products were born near this point. The showjumping horses are competed by Lennart Van Vlaenderen. After the passing of Lieve in early 2023, Lennart and his girlfriend Justine Blontrock continue the breeding and stable operations. Initially, breeding was done on a small scale with international horses Lennart rode. Mainly mares were acquired, such as Blendy van Klapscheut (1m50 level, BWP performance lineage 109, Geisha), Utah (1m45 level), and her daughter Chacca 3 Leien Z (Chacco-Blue, 1m50 level). Today, breeding is done with mares from the best Belgian dam lines descending from stallions such as Chacco-Blue, Diamant de Semilly, Emerald, Nabab de Reve, Chacoon Blue, Aganix du Seigneur, Don VHP Z, Cicero Z, and Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve.
